What will be taught: 
Word problems: how addition has a language or you can say terms the student must know to understand addition.
Terms: terms to remember when adding such as, add, addend, sum, place value, columns, greater or less, perimeter.
The number line: How numbers represent by points on a line. Learning how to find the number of units between like 3 and 7. 
Greater and Less than: Students learn the symbols, which will make a true statement: for example: 7 (> ) 6 , 7 is greater than 6. 
Addition problems: Students will learn how to add one place, two place, three place, unequal place addition. Students will learn how to add long column of numbers which involves two numbers, being added at one time for example: 1 + 6 + 7 =  14 or 43 + 22+14 + 79. 
Place Value and Column: When adding combinations and place value, you can do any problem. One place, tens place, etc. How we carry to the next column will be taught 
Perimeter: Geometry of how to add different shapes for measurement.
How it will I teach it: Some slides will be used, discussion, lectures, white board, anything to get the learner to understand the lesson. 
There is no required experience or previous knowledge. 
Worksheet will be provided for practice.
Learning Goals
Student's will learn how numbers come in many sizes, learn how to add many numbers together and learn to add numbers that have large digits. Students will learn to do word problem, number line, perimeter, and how to check their own work.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
