In this ongoing small group class, students will develop and strengthen their third grade math skills by engaging in fun activities such as math games, puzzles and artistic activities. We will practice addition, subtraction and multiplication by playing math bingo, working with math squares, puzzles such as sudokus and magic squares, and through drawings and story problems. Students will practice long additional and subtraction, simple multiplication/times table practice and general third grade math skills while engaging in games, puzzles and artistic activities. Throughout the semester we will build our flexibility and fluidity doing mental and written math while incorporating activities that are fun and engaging.
