In this fun math class, your child will learn about the value of money, shapes, counting, practice writing numbers, and addition. This course is designed to help your child prepare for kindergarten and first-grade math. At the beginning of every class, there will be a warm welcoming to the classroom and an introduction. I will also go over every classroom rule and expectation. I plan to make this math class as fun and interactive as possible for your child. There will be a slide...
Students will be able to identify numbers by counting, write numbers, identifying shapes, and money.
I have taught math in a number of settings with preschool, pre-k, and elementary students.
Normally there will be no homework just once in a while a worksheet practicing what we learned that day.
Any handouts will be sent over before class starts. Every handout is created by me for this class specifically.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
All material created is made by me. There will be interactive slide show presentations and worksheets to go along with the classes with be given in advance of the class.
