In this class, students will have the opportunity to play math games that will serve to strengthen their foundational fourth grade math skills while having fun in a small group. We will practice our times tables using number puzzles, mental math and story problems and will play a variety of games, ranging from math dice games to multiplication and division bingo, sudokus and the game 24. Students will have the opportunity to solidify their multiplication tables and practice competence and agility with mental math games and activities. Multiplication and division, place value and estimation, and simple fractions will all be topics covered in this ongoing small group class.

The small group setting is supportive for different learning styles and Aurore has been an educational support teacher in Waldorf Schools.
Paper and pencil and colored pencils are required, and a ruler is helpful. Dice or beanbags may also come in handy but are not required.
