In this ongoing small group class, (or math club), students will strengthen their fifth grade math skills by doing puzzles and games such as playing multiplication and division bingo, sudokus, and the game 24.

Class Experience

US Grade 5
  • Students will strengthen and develop their fifth grade math skills while playing games, doing puzzles and through occasional artistic activities. There will be some long multiplication and division practice, with a focus on mental math and work with fractions and decimals. We will utilize story problems, drawings, games and puzzles to engage students and make math practice fun.
Aurore Sibley is a Waldorf grades and educational support specialist and has been teaching for over two decades.
