Math Is Fun! Fifth Grade

In this class, students will have the opportunity to play math games that will serve to strengthen their fifth grade math skills while having fun in a small group. We will practice our multiplication and division as well as fractions using number puzzles, mental math and story problems and will play a variety of games, ranging from math dice games to multiplication and division bingo, sudokus and the game 24. - Students will strengthen and develop their fifth grade math skills while playing games, doing puzzles and through occasional artistic activities. There will be some long multiplication and division practice, with a focus on mental math and work with fractions and decimals. We will utilize story problems, drawings, games and puzzles to engage students and make math practice fun.
