What will be taught: Students learn to find the percent of a number. Students learn to find the percent one number is another. Students learn to find a number when a percent of it is known. Students learn percent's means hundredths. Students learn percent's, decimals, and fractions are intertwined with each other. Students learn everyday we see in our stores and supermarkets a sale that will read 40% off on a product or 30 % off on all furniture, or interest rates of 5.7% etc. Percent's are used in our daily lives, this class will teach the students it is important to know what percent means and how it is related to fractions and decimals, plus how we use it in practical situations. Some knowledge of fractions, decimals is helpful for this class.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parental guidance in case of technical difficulty is helpful and also for logging into the zoom classroom. Do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. Students do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects with a comfortable place to do their work. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
