What will be taught:
Students learn how the basic order of operation for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing expressions and equations. 
Students will practice to solve expressions and equations in how to calculate the order of operation to solve the problems. 
Students learn to use the order of operation rules to evaluate numerical expressions that make use of showing order. 
Students will learn how to write simple expressions and record calculations with numbers and interpret numerical expressions without evaluating them. 
Students will participate in identifying problems that can happen when evaluation expressions with multiple operations. 
How will the lesson be taught:
Engagement, slides, discussion, explore, practice and evaluate the math problems to solve. 
Students must know their basic math.
Learning Goals
Students will understand and know how to use order of operation basics to evaluate numerical expression without the use of parentheses and brackets to show order.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
