What will be taught: Students will learn the quotient of two fractions. Students will learn dividing mixed numbers. Students will learn how to do word problems. Students learn how to divide fractions, invert the divisor, change the division sign to a multiplication sign and proceed as they did when learning how to multiply fractions. Students learn when dividing mixed numbers , change each mixed number to a fraction, invert the division, and proceed as they did when the student learn when...
Students learn how to divide fractions by inverting fractions, changing the division sign to multiplication sign and dividing mixed numbers and changing mixed numbers to a fraction. Students learn words problems containing dividing fractions.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
