Beginner Level
What will be taught: Students will learn how algebraic expressions are read. Students will learn how to practice problems using parentheses to indicate multiplication. Students will learn what are monomial, binomial, or trinomial. Students will practice and learn how to write algebraic expressions. Students will learn and practice numerical coefficients. Students will practice evaluating algebraic expression and by writing their own algebraic expression. How the lesson will be taught: Student engagement, slides, doc cam and discussion. Beginner class for students who haven't started algebra, knowledge of basic math skills before taking this class is helpful.

Students will learn, understand, and practice evaluating algebraic expressions with variables, and write algebraic expressions.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
