Class experience
This stand-alone course is the second of three courses in a Math in Chemistry series. We will pick up with single-step dimensional analysis to lay the foundation for two and three steps. I am a certified science teacher with over 18 years of experience, mostly in high school chemistry, physics, and biology. I have an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a doctorate in Education. I’ve tutored chemistry for over 5 years, and have tailored this class to a question I get a lot at this time of the year.
A Google document that allows learners to complete their work online or print before class, based on their preference, will be provided the morning of the class. Other materials include a pen or pencil (preferably a pencil with an eraser), a calculator with the ability to perform operations in scientific notation, and paper.
