Students will be taught how to convert customary units of measurement such as yards, feet and inches. Students will be supplied a conversion guide and worksheets to be used in class. The class will be teacher led and interaction will be constant during this class through discussion, questions, and problem solving. The teacher will demonstrate each unit of measurement, and the students will work with the teacher in solving the problems. After practicing, students will work similar problems...
Students will improve their understanding of how to convert customary measurements, how to create equations, and make the conversions.
Classwork/Measurement Sheet will be provided by the teacher. Pencils and Erasers Lined paper for taking notes
