Math Homework Help by Certified Teacher With 30 Years Experience
I will provide 1 full hour helping with any Math homework from grades 6 to AP Calculus BC. NOTE: I will NOT do the homework for you, I will TEACH you how to do it. I may ask you to do another problem of the same type to test comprehension.

I will teach you how to do your math homework. NOTE: I will NOT "do" your math homework. So, if for example you have 5 homework problems. We will go over 10. I MAY make up an additional problem for each to make sure you understand the material - by having you do the new problem! Topics will be whatever you choose. My class is loosely structured in that I am only helping you with whatever you need help with. I will "teach" the student how to do a homework problem then if I am not 100% clear that the student understands then I will create a SIMILAR problem for the student to do BEFORE going onto the next homework problem. Sorry, I will NOT do the homework, so I won't just work on the problems they give me if I feel they do not understand completely. I will add extra problems. I teach using the student-centric method which means that the student will do most of the work. This will be using whiteboard or shared screen so that they can follow along, and they can do the work as well.
Learning Goals
They will learn how to do each problem on their homework (that we have time to cover).They will learn how to dissect a word problem (if they need help with word problems) and transform it into equations.
Other Details
Pre-Requisites
1) Send me pictures of the problems BEFORE class so I won't waste any of your parent's money waiting on problems.
2) Make sure you have AT LEAST read the problems and tried them.
Supply List
Please have your homework ready - please send to me at least 1 hour BEFORE class so we can spend the whole hour working on your homework rather than wasting it on you finding your homework. We do not want to waste your parent's money. Notebook, paper, pencil/pen and maybe calculator.
