Class Experience
~I hold a current teaching certificate for elementary and middle school math. I am not currently practicing math beyond Algebra 2 on a regular basis. Please give me advanced notice of high school (10th, 11th, 12th grade) topics, as I will need to review the material, or I might not be qualified to discuss the advanced topics. ~This is a drop-in class to receive help with specific problems. Learners need to bring the materials that they would like to work with (textbook, workbook, etc)....
I have taught and tutored math for about twenty years. I hold a current teaching certificate in K-8 elementary school, with a focus on math. I am halfway to my master's in secondary math. I really enjoy math - it is very relatable to food and money!
Students must have their Saxon or Singapore Primary US or Dimensions books or workbooks.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
