Ever wish you could go over something you learned last year? Or do you wish that you could get an idea of what to expect next year? This Ongoing Math Camp will help all students that want to either do a refresher on 3rd Grade Math OR they may want to get ahead of rest of the class if they are going to be attending the 3rd grade next year. This class will cover all of 3rd Grade Math over the course of 8 weeks. Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Word Problems and more will be covered in this Math Camp! You can join at any time as each week will cover a different topic. Give your child the gift of Confidence! Help them either to recover from a fractured school year or give them a boost to make sure that the next school year is the best one yet! Hello! My name is David McLaughlin.
I have Bachelors Degree in Education. I am TESOL Certified as well.
I am also a father, who has home schooled all 5 of my children through high school.
I also have 15 years experience teaching ongoing classes in my community for Reading, Grammar, Speech and Public Speaking to children aged 8 through 18 years of age.
I teach classes in all the common core subjects but throughout my years of experience teaching I have particularly come to love teaching the subjects Math, English and Natural Science.
My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
My teaching style is to encourage critical thinking and lively discussions through the use of engaging questions and leading students to logical conclusions where they can back up their opinions by facts and data.
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I love the outdoors, fishing, and sailing. I always try to bring my love of adventure and learning to my classroom!
