In this 4-week camp, learners will review math skills from 2nd grade with the support of a certified teacher. Each session will review a set of 2nd grade math skills and practice using those skills by playing games together.

Welcome to a fun-filled Math Review Summer Camp! Over the course of four weeks, we will review all math standards learned in 2nd grade. We will meet 4 days a week for 4 weeks. Each session will be about 45 minutes long. Classes will be structured as follows: 2-3 minutes for introductions/ice breaker 2-3 minutes setting expectations 15-20 minutes to do a quick review of the skill for that day 25-30 minutes to play a game *please note, these are loose times and may adjust depending on the students During the Review Time, learners will have the opportunity to share what they know! I will ask students to help me remember how to solve problems with on the skill that day. I will provide feedback/clarification/help on any topics learners struggle with. Then we will complete a few practice problems independently and check answers. I will check in with all learners to ensure they have a good understanding of the topic before moving to the game. After reviewing, the class will play a game. All questions on each game are created by me and pertain to the topic of the day. Games may include working independently or as teams. All learners will be celebrated for their hard work and progress in each game. Games may include Kahoot, Gimkit, Blooket, Bingo, Baamboozle, and more!
Learning Goals
Learners will review all math concepts from second grade. Learners will also have the opportunity to work in groups of 2-3 in various games.

Parental Guidance
This camp will utilize several different digital resources, including 3rd party approved resources. We will also utilize several other learning game platforms:
Baamboozle, Quizalize, Slides with Friends, Blooket
All question sets for all games will be created by the teacher, Miss K.
Learners will not need accounts, they will be provided a code to play games where applicable.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should have completed second grade, or have worked through second grade math. This class is strictly to review 2nd grade math concepts using the Common Core Standards.
Supply List
Learners should have something to write with and something to write on (paper/pencil, whiteboard/marker, etc) for working out problems.
