Class Experience
Welcome to Pokemon themed math Bingo for Kindergartners! This class is designed to be a fun way to practice addition and subtraction within 10. Class begins with brief introductions and time to discuss about our favorite Pokemon. Learners are encouraged to bring a favorite Pokemon related toy to class with them. I am a fun and flexible teacher who wants your child to have fun AND learn. To get the most out of class, learners should have their BINGO board printed and ready to use as class...
Students will review math addition and subtraction problems within 10! Problems such as 5+3 and 8-2 will be called and answered as a class.
I am a STEM instructor who teaches science, technology, engineering and math courses. I also have experience teaching robotics and creative art classes. I believe all children can learn if taught in the way they learn best. I aim to make my classes fun and engaging for all my learners!
No homework is assigned.
Learners will need to print off their bingo card sent prior to class. They will also need something to use as bingo chips -- Lego bricks, coins, or other small objects work well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
