Beginner Level
This is a great class for learners who are new to multiplication and division. This is also a great class for learners who learn best with interactive learning and/or want to be able to discuss multiplication and divisions instead of just memorizing the facts. Students will be able to interact with slides and activities in order to make equal groups, arrays, create number families and solve word problems. Students will also have discussions about how and why we use multiplication and division in every day life. The teachers will use fun games in order to assess learner understanding. Week of 2/14: Exploring Multiplication Multiplication Definitions Week of 2/21: Arrays and Equal Grouping-Multiplication Exploring Division Week of 2/28: Division Definitions Equal Grouping-Division Week of 3/7: Fact Families Word Problems-Multiplication and Division
