Students will spend the first 5-10 minutes of class learning to play a new math game in which they will practice place value, addition, and subtraction of 2- and 3-digit numbers. The remaining class time, student will play the math game with other learners while teacher guides learning. This is an exciting, fun, and relaxing way to build math fluency, sharpen quantitative skills, and build math confidence.
Learning Goals
Students will group and count by ones, tens, and hundreds.
Students will add and subtract 2- and 3-digit numbers using mental math.
Students will practice addition facts to 18.

Supply List
Four documents will be provided. Please print one copy of the first two documents, and two copies of the money page before class. Please cut two pages of the play money before class as well. If the family wishes to play the game after class, consider printing the money on card stock for durability.
