In this four time class, the students will use SUBITIZING (pronounced suh bitizing) to increase and strengthen their number fluency and sense of numbers. Becoming fast and fluent with numbers and dot images is important for a strong math foundation. Students will become proficient at looking at dominoes or dice and seeing the total in a snap, rather than counting all the dots.
