Beginner Level
Students will learn foundational money skills, including: • Recognizing coins. • Understanding the value of the penny, dime, nickel and quarter. through the use of hands on activities, interactive songs and whole body teaching. Students will be engaged and moving throughout the lesson. The lesson will begin with an introduction then transition into whole group review. After, a song is taught for each coin. A video will be reviewed as a brain break. After, students will apply what they have learned through a fun interactive memory game. This is a great introduction lesson for coin recognition that students will take with them and build upon.

I have experience working with learners of all abilities, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ASD and more. Learners of all abilities are welcomed and encouraged to join us in class. Please contact me for more information
Parental Guidance
A g rated YouTube video on coins will be shown. This will encourage students to connect with the learning material in a fun way, promoting engagement.
Supply List
Students will need to bring 1 penny, nickel, dime and quarter for hands on activity.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
