Math Fun! Numbers Review and Practice for Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten

Welcome to Ms. Lauren's Math Fun: Numbers Review and Practice!

In this class we will thoroughly practice numbers 0-20. Concepts covered are those such as counting, recognizing numbers, number formation, one-to-one correspondence, addition, and much more. We will begin with a simple review using songs and dance. We then will review the numbers 0-20 one by one using a PowerPoint interactive lesson. Students will take turns answering questions and completing tasks relating to various math concepts. Once we have practiced all numbers and concepts, we will put our knowledge to the test with some fun and challenging games, brain teasers, activities and teamwork! 

As the educator, I will facilitate learning opportunities where students have the chance to share their knowledge and interact with their peers. I take into consideration the age, level, and ability of each student- as they will all have the opportunity to actively participate in this class based on their needs. The learning environment will be fun, lively, and exciting. However, I recognize the need for young children to adequately balance their energy throughout a lesson to ensure they are able to retain and comprehend concepts to the best of their ability. Therefore, I incorporate various brain breaks throughout my lessons to provide students with the chance to stop thinking, calm their minds, relax their bodies, and regain focus. This is done periodically throughout the lesson through various techniques such as breathing strategies, stretching, instruments, songs, mind movies, and more.

This class is great for math beginners, learners, and pros- as it covers many concepts that are great for a review!
