US Grade Kindergarten
In this math course, learners will: *Practice recognizing missing numbers 1-10 *Practice addition and subtraction equations with numbers 1-10 I use PowerPoint slides with numbers, objects, ten frames, and dice to engage learners through a series of math equations. Learners are encouraged to bring manipulative (cereal, candy, toys, blocks) and participate respectfully. Although some students are outgoing and talkative, I encourage silent or shy students to speak by asking specific questions. This course is most appropriate for students that can recognize numbers 1-20 and have the ability to count from 1-20. Again, students are encouraged to bring cereal, counting cubes, an abacus, or manipulatives that can be used for counting.

Learners should have objects that can help them count. This can be Cheerios, small blocks, bingo chips, or whatever parents think is best.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
