What's included

16 live meetings
8 in-class hours
Homework
1 hour per week. I will be sending home various activities that you can complete with your student outside of class to reinforce what we have been learning. These activities will include printables that require minimal preparation on your part. You will need to print and cut out materials to use both in class and at home.
Assessment
I will start with an evaluation to better understand your student. Halfway through the course, I will provide feedback on the student's strengths—the skills they are excelling in—as well as the areas where they still need improvement. At the end of the class, I will conduct an assessment to determine whether they are ready to advance to the next course level or if they require additional time at their current level.

I will be using a program called Numeracy Project to guide our students through three standards at a time during this evaluation process. I have taught Kindergarten math for seven years, focusing on helping students develop a strong foundation in number sense. This foundation allows them to retain and build upon their skills, enabling them to thrive in mathematics. Additionally, I have experience teaching in a brick-and-mortar setting with special education students of all levels and disabilities.
