Beginner Level
EST Time Zone This class will not meet face-to-face. Each week will consist of a variety of activities to improve their math skills and knowledge. Interactive task will be submitted to the teacher and feedback will be provided via Outschool messages. A wonderful benefits of this flex class is that learners can take as much time as they want to review the activities. Units Covered (Priority Standards ONLY): Ratios and Proportional Relationships, Number System, Expressions and Equations, Geometry, Statistics and Probability! This crash course is focused on priority standards only. It is purposed to provide a foundation for Math 7 success! The standards are not taught in any order specific to any state but structured in a manner appropriate for this course.
Learning Goals
Students will be exposed to 7th grade key standards purposed to prepare them for 7th grade MATH or as a review for 8th grade MATH!Syllabus

Ratios and Proportional Relationships
Analyze proportional relationships and use them to solve real-world and mathematical problems. Lesson 2:
The Number System
Apply and extend previous understandings of operations with fractions to add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers. 31 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Expressions and Equations
Solve real-life and mathematical problems using numerical and algebraic expressions and equations. Lesson 4:
Geometry
Solve real-life and mathematical problems involving area of rectangles and triangles. Other Details
Parental Guidance
External resources will be used to enhance learning. These resources will be used during class time via screen share or during independent work time. Some external resources used will require student accounts which will be activated and assigned by the teacher at no additional cost to you. The teacher will assign generic (no personal identifiers) username/passwords for each student. The student will only have access to their generic accounts while enrolled in my course. All external resources have been vetted and approved to be appropriate for learning. The external resource for this class is Google Slides!
