This one time Spring themed class will challenge students to solve a variety of math problems, using an escape room format. Students will work together to find the hidden pictures and solve the riddle that will bring Peter Rabbit back home. They must find all of the pictures and decode the riddle in 30 minutes. Math problems are at 1st and 2nd grade level and involve a variety of concepts, including all addition and subtraction, data, time, number lines, and basic number sense. Students will be encouraged to interact with peers to solve the problems; teacher will ask guiding questions and offer possible strategies if the group is stuck.
