Math Enrichment Early Elementary

This class offers individualized math enrichment activities to students of all ages. This class provides an opportunity to reinforce fundamentals though fun and interesting games and puzzles, while having providing the opportunity to learn to explore, create, and problem-solve.

We focus on basic arithmetic -- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division -- mixed in with critical thinking skills. Classes rarely include rote practice, but rather games, puzzles, and activities that will provide reinforcement for arithmetic operations as well develop critical thinking skills. We will also focus on basic measurement and geometry concepts.

Each class will be individualized based on learners' needs, but will generally follow a structure that includes first introducing/reviewing a concept, doing a few sample problems with it, and then extending that into a game or puzzle. Not all meetings will follow this particular format.
