US Grade 4 - 5
This class is designed to provide a fun extra challenge for upper elementary students that love math, and enjoy tackling puzzles, games and academics. We will learn basic algebra, exponential math, measurement challenges such as determining cubic volume of combined figures, logic puzzles, visual puzzles and more. Each lesson stands alone independent of the other lessons. Students may come and go as they choose. As I learn more about my students, I may add to the class later in order to continue meeting the needs and desires of my students. My teaching style is encouraging and upbeat. I will alternate between academic learning and fun puzzles and games. I teach live and interact with my students throughout the lesson. I assess privately using the chat, and encourage discussion and problem-solving within the live online setting.
