Description
Class Experience
This 5-day class is for 8 to 10 year old students who are ready to learn math information beyond their grade level standards. The instructor will be using the middle section of the Primary Grade Challenge Math book by Edward Zaccaro. This book allows learners to develop a deeper level of mathematical understanding and thinking skills, while nurturing a love of mathematics with fun pictures and explanations for concepts. I am in my 19th year of teaching elementary school. I have been a general education teacher in 5th and 6th grades and am currently a gifted education teacher for grades K-5. My education includes a bachelors in elementary education, masters in education administration, and endorsement in gifted special education.
If a student does not complete the chapter in the allotted class time, they will have the opportunity to work on it on their own outside of class time.
5 files available upon enrollmentStudents will to print materials for each day and will need a pencil to complete the work.
