Class Experience

Students are expected to learn and understand many mathematical concepts during the first few years of school.  This ongoing course is designed to allow students to review and confirm what they already know and/or to help them in areas in which they might need additional instruction.  Each class will be delivered in a "stand alone" manner which will allow students to join in for a selected class or classes that interest them, or they may choose to take the entire series of six classes as an...

Students will receive additional support each week in a variety of mathematical concepts.

My experience has been that students need to fully understand the basic math concepts taught in elementary school before they can be expected to tackle more difficult concepts in higher education.  I love studying math, teaching math, and showing that different mathematical concepts can be useful.

Homework will be optional, but may be suggested so that students can continue to practice their skills.

Please have students come prepared.  A spiral notebook and several pencils are recommended.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
