Several skills are taught in each lesson and disappear or are incorporated into other skills once students have deomonstrated mastery. 

Topics taught by session over 4 weeks are:
Week #1:
TUESDAY - 
Place Value (1's, 10's, 100's)
Addition Number Families
 arithmetic problem vs. arithmetic fact
Addition Fact Review: +1 and +2
Counting by 10's to 100
THURSDAY- 
Expanded Notation: 2-digit numbers (ex. 21 = 20 + 1)
1, 2, or 3- digit number?
Vocabulary: add, subtract
Addition Fact Review: +0, +1, +2

Week #2:
TUESDAY-

Number Families: addition/subtraction
Counting by 1's, 10's
Addition/Subtraction Facts - start and end number
THURSDAY-
Number Dictation
Vocabulary - addition/subtraction (add +, subtract -)
Fact Review +1 and +2

Addition Fact Review: +0, +1 and +2

Week 3:

Column Addition: 2-digit numbers

Instruction will be teacher-led, with students will be encouraged to respectfully interact with both the teacher and other students in every session. Students will be instructed, then asked to practice the skill immediately as an informal assessment. Teaching will include teacher instruction, on-screen slides and video clips.
