Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 8
** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions**

**ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR CAMERAS ON AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CLASS FOR VERIFICATION AND I ASK THAT ALL STUDENTS LEAVE THEIR CAMERAS ON**

🥳 Welcome to Math class where we will practice math in a fun and engaging way! 🥳

If you would like a 45 minute class where we play a fun game of Blooket as reinforcement please go to this link:

This ongoing class will meet twice a week to ensure that students are learning their math skills in a fun and engaging way. Please note that this class is for students that are currently in middle school (6th-8th Grade). All lessons will be taught by sharing the zoom whiteboard and communication will be done by using the chat box or students may come off mute if they desire. Depending on the size of the class, students may be placed on mute to ensure that the background noise isn't too much, but students will be free to mute and unmute as needed.

This class is an ongoing class, which means that you are able to enroll and unenroll your learner as needed. Please look at the dates description below to see which topic will be covered during class. As mentioned above, the lessons will be taught with the white board via zoom or by a mini lesson while the teacher is sharing the screen and then learners will get their own math problem to ensure that everyone understands the concept.

CLASS OUTLINE:
15 MINUTES: LESSON INTRODUCTION THROUGH WHITEBOARD/VIDEOS (VERY MINIMAL), POWERPOINT, ETC...
15 MINUTES: STUDENTS WILL GET MATH PROBLEMS TO ENSURE THEY KNOW HOW TO DO THE PROBLEM BY USING A DIGITAL WHITEBOARD WHERE THE TEACHER WILL PROVIDE FEEDBACK TO THE STUDENTS OR AT TIMES THE CHATBOX MAY BE UTILIZED. NEARPOD MAY ALSO BE UTILIZED

NEARPOD IS AN ENGAGING PLATFORM WHERE STUDENTS GET TO WRITE THEIR ANSWERS AND I AM ABLE TO SEE IT. PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENTS DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT TO ACCESS NEARPOD AS I WILL SEND THEM A LINK TO JOIN
