Description

Class Experience

Math Circle is a top-tier math program attracting elementary, middle, and high school students interested in mathematics and eager to learn. During our sessions, we will focus on advanced math topics such as probability combinatorics, game theory, number theory, and several logic puzzles as well as games to improve logical reasoning skills. We will also explore different techniques to add, subtract, multiply and divide by learning about how ancient cultures did math!

This class is taught in English.

The fundamental goal of the sessions is to improve critical thinking and mathematical reasoning. We will achieve this by applying the core concepts learned in school (such as addition and subtraction) to a wide range of different scenarios and puzzles.

The instructor for this course has approximately 5 years of experience teaching both Math Circle and Math Competition materials to age groups ranging from 1st grade to 9th grade.

All handouts and additional materials will be provided. 

Please make sure to have the following materials ready;
1. Pencil
2. Eraser
3. Working Camera

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
