August/September: Numbers 
-fact families (8/27)
-place value for ones and tens. (9/3)
-identify greater than, less than, and compare and order 2-digit numbers (9/3)
-addition within 100: visualize, model, and numerically represent, use fact pairs, doubles, and doubles plus one (9/10)
-subtraction within 100: visualize, model, and numerically represent (9/17)
-skip count by 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 (9/24)
October: Geometry & Data Relationships
-shape recognition, use mathematical language to describe shapes (10/8)
-read simple graphs (10/29)
-analyze graphs (10/29)

November: Measurement
-identify U.S. coins, count change, calculate payment and remaining funds, determine cost and affordability (11/5)
-calendar usage (11/12)
-tell time to 5 minutes, transfer time knowledge to common activities (11/19)

December: Algebra
-recognize and extend patterns (12/3)
-solve for missing addend, and subtrahend (12/10)
-model math in various ways (12/17)
There will be extra practice provided, but there is no required homework.
Some handouts will be provided each week on Sundays. Please print these, and bring a pencil to class. Additional materials may be suggested on a week-to-week basis.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed by the teacher through observation. Feedback will be written and sent to parents after class concludes which will include achieved goals and suggested next steps.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
