This class is a great way to challenge your learner to think outside the box and try to solve different math brain teasers! With teacher support, students will have the opportunity to look at different pictures of symbols and work with each other to solve each brain teaser. Each week we will focus on a combination of different 2-digit and 3-digit addition and subtraction problems. In order to be challenged but not struggle, students should be able to quickly add and subtract numbers within 100 and have good skip counting skills.
Learning Goals
Students will strengthen their critical thinking skills, their cooperation skills, and their math skills.

Students might want a piece of paper and pencil, to work out any of the problems on paper instead of in their head.
