Description
Class Experience
I have been teaching elementary, middle, and high school in Florida since 1995; middle school math for 19 years. My Educator's License is from the State of Florida Department of Education. I am certified in ***Exceptional Student Education (Grades K-12) Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) and Mathematics (Grades 5-9)
There will be no assigned homework, however I will post links to activities for students to play and practice on their own if they'd like!
Learner will need to have access to a separate device or computer to participate in lessons, provided entry codes for apps or links. Learners should have paper and pencil nearby to work out math problems when needed. Learners are permitted to use a calculator with parent approval.
At the end of the week, learners will demonstrate their abilities to convert between ratios and proportions, and solve basic word problems. A progress report will be posted by the following Monday.
4 hours 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
