Welcome to math class! In this class students will learn how to find the Mean, Median, Mode and Range in a fun way. It is important that students know how to add and subtract in order to ensure that they are successful in the class. This concept is very important for students to learn in 4th-6th grade as they will be tested on it, so what better way to learn it than by having fun. This class will give your learner the confidence to learn about Mean, Median, Mode & Range. I try my very best to be fun and energetic for the students to enjoy the theme in a fun way. Once the objectives have been taught we will go have a friendly blooket competition that students tend to love. Although it’s not necessary, it’s extremely helpful if students have a separate device such as a tablet or smart phone. CLASS LAYOUT: This class will follow the "I Do, We Do, You Do" Format. Students will be introduced to the topics by seeing one example from me on both topics, followed by an example that we will do together, followed by an example that they will do by themselves and typing the answer in the chatbox. 20 minutes: Intro lesson 20 minutes: Nearpod lesson 20 minutes: Blooket game TOPICS: Day 1: Learn and Find Mean Day 2: Learn and find Mode Day 3: Learn and Find Median Day 4: Learn and Find Range WHAT PARENTS LIKE YOU ARE SAYING: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 "Great rapport building with student, helped student master topic areas efficiently and effectively"
