This is exactly what it says in the title, it's a bootcamp of understanding multi-step equations. Multi-step equations are a foundation to all higher math. This mini bootcamp will breakdown what an equation is., Understanding addition, subtraction, multiplication and division properties of equality. When solving an equation understanding its a balance, therefore to solve for the variable using inverse operation.

Lesson 1:
Warm Up: What is in an equation?
 Students will learn what an equation is and the parts of an equation. Students will also learn one step equations and the different ways to solve one step equations.

Main Event: Multi-Step Equation
 Students will learn how to tackle multi-step equations.

Lesson 3:
Main Event Part 2: Variable on both sides
 Students will learn how to handle multi-step equations with variables on both sides.

Lesson 4:
The Ending: Putting It All Together
 Students will review all the information from previous lessons by putting it all together. Through practice problems, games and an exit ticket

Pre-Requisites
pre-reqs are for students that have either taken or in pre-algebra.
Supply List
Students will be given a packet of guided notes that they can print off. If students can also use extra notebooks, pencils and a calculator.

I've been a High School Math Teacher for 5 years, specifically Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra2/Trig. I have a Teaching License in secondary math in the state of Wisconsin. I love breaking down each math topic to its basic edge. I feel this helps for any student (including myself) to understand math.
