Class Experience

Hello and thank you for your interest in my Math Beginnings 2 class! It is important to note, you do not have to take Math Beginnings to take this course. This course will feature some more advanced math concepts that are typically covered during kindergarten. This class will help prepare your learner for kindergarten, help them master kindergarten standards, or help supplement or enrich their learning between ages 3 to 6!

Topics to be covered in class: 
1. Counting to 100 
2. Counting from...

Students will develop math skills for counting objects, counting from any number, writing numbers, and answering the question, “how many?”

I am a certified Elementary Education teacher. I am a certified L4 teacher in the state of Georgia and hold my Bachelor’s degree from Brenau University. I am also currently pursuing my Master’s of Education from University of West Georgia. I have three years experience with young learners teaching these early math concepts and am excited to meet your learner!

Worksheets will be provided through classroom portal!

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:YouTube

I can provide an informal assessment to parents about their learners upon request!
