Hello, my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been an art educator working with preschool and elementary students for the past 5 years.

I am proud to be recognized as an ACE educator.

In my classes, learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills that focus on art which include fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, language and literacy, social and emotions. Let's learn all about art by using different art supplies. The students will be an artist in my classes .

I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal. I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old and students aged 6-9. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.

I am a proud and passionate Preschool and elementary art educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones when doing art.

My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play-based, hands-on experience, and child-led. I have great enjoyment in making classes play-based, hands-on experience, child-led, and engaging for each student. The students will build self-confidence and a sense of self-esteem in my classes.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, reading, baking, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
