Beginner Level
In this ongoing class, you will explore math through art. If you enjoy art and would like to learn a little math while doing art or you like math and would like to see how to incorporate art through math, this class is for you. In class, we will cover basic math principles including multiplication, fractions, place values, and graphing. The classes will be somewhat learner defined as per what needs to be learned. Learners will improve basic math skills associated with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, decimals, and graphing.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. I have tutored high school math and taught math online. I have taught all ages of children by coaching figure skating for over twenty years.
Homework Offered
Homework will be purely supplemental and completely optional. It will usually be one page of fun math like math that solves a riddle or some art that may or may not reinforce a math topic.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Learners may learn in any manner they wish. Learners may watch quietly or ask questions. Learners may write answers on the screen if they wish. Teacher is very aware of learning differences and will try to accommodate all learners.
No prerequesites are required.
Writing utensil (preferably a pencil, but whatever learner prefers) Coloring pencils, crayons, markers, etc. - whatever learner would like to use Plain paper Grid paper - both squares and triangular (spirolateral - can download for free) Ruler Math set - compass and protractor would be useful on occasion
