Class Experience
Mathematics are a major part of sports, in terms of scoring, statistics, areas of play, and other variables. Students will be taught the four math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in this course. Students will learn and practice how they apply to basketball, baseball and football. There will be word problems that include real-life statistics from the NBA, NFL, and MLB. Students will be taught about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This is to help students between the ages of 9 and 14 with their knowledge and understanding of math.
Learner progress is assessed through the word problems and multiple-choice questions in the session.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
