US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten

Beginner Level

This is a 30 minute class on the foundation of math. In this class, children will learn how to count and recognize the corresponding number, basic concept of mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and shape recognition. I base my lessons on where the children are in their academic growth.

The child will master their numbers 1 - 10.

Lesson 1:

Introductions

 This lesson is to get to know the children and where they each are academically.

Numbers and Quantity

 This lesson will be focused on counting and matching the quantity with the number symbol. Concept of zero. Names of Basic Shapes.

Teens

 This lesson will be focused on counting to 20.

Other Details

Learning Needs

I work well with all learning needs and work at the children's pace. The best way I do this online is to create a little bit of fun conversation breaks throughout the lesson to keep the children engaged online.
