Beginner Level
What will be taught: Students will learn how to add and subtract like terms that have the same literal coefficient represented to the same power but do not necessarily have the same numerical coefficient. Students will learn how to organize the problems when performing the arithmetic operations on polynomials. Students learn how the terms should be arranged in descending and ascending powers of the literal coefficient. Students will learn how to tell like terms. Students will practice solving like terms by adding and subtracting. How will the lesson be taught: Whiteboard, slides, engagement, discussions. Some knowledge of basic math.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
