In this 8 week course, the focus will be on testing taking strategies and ACT Math concepts. The goal each week is to work on standards from the ACT College and Career Readiness Standards. Students will review the broad concept, practice the concept and be given optional work for the week to do independently. This will be taught in a small group setting with students participating and asking questions as we move through the material. This class will use an I Do, We Do, You Do approach with...
Students will improve their ACT math skills to improve their test scores.
I am a certified teacher, K-6 All subjects and Mathematics 6-12. I teach Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus to high school students.
ACT Math practice questions can be completed for homework if desired.
paper, pencil and calculator (approved ACT calculator encouraged)
Informal assessments can be made during the classes. Their individual ACT scores will be their true assessment of growth and effort.
