I taught 5th -8th grade for 3 years; I loved working with this age group! I really enjoyed sharing bar model strategies with my students to develop algebraic thinking skills.
Students may wish to have paper, pencil, and colored pencils/pens to work with.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Students who have been working on multiplying and dividing 2-digit numbers will find this excellent practice in applying their skills to real-world problems.
