Homework
1 hour per week. Homework will vary depending on the student and work that needs to be done. Assignments will be short but will review the skills and concept learned in each class. They will be customized for the student.Assessment
Students will be assessed informally in every class and tests can be given if requested. Parents will receive a report on each session in general and the on the performance of their student.Class Experience

This class will be customized for individual learners needing tutoring in Singapore math concepts. Singapore is a teaching method of math that involved a 3 stage process: Concrete, Pictorial, and Abstract. This class is open to students who are working on Kindergarten through 6th grade math concepts. Concepts may include: 📌Number Sense (intuition of value, comparison) 📌Number Bonds 📌Bar Models 📌Estimation 📌Mental Math 📌Number Words and Symbols 📌Story Problems 📌Ordinal Numbers 📌Addition (Tips and Tricks) 📌Subtraction (Tips and Tricks) 📌Multiplication (Tips and Tricks) 📌Division (Tips and Tricks) 📌Fractions 📌Decimals 📌Factors 📌Multiples 📌Expressions 📌Graphs and Tables 📌Geometry & Measurement (Shapes, Length, Weight, Area, Perimeter, Volume, Metric, Imperial) 📌Ratio, Rate, Percentages 📌Time 📌Money 📧 Please message me explaining your need for tutoring and I will quickly be in touch to let you know if I can help. We will review skills, concepts, and practices that the student might be lacking and assign appropriate activities to increase these skills. Students can renew this class as many times as they need.

Supply List
Any math books or materials you've been using. Possibly manipulatives (blocks, toothpicks, etc.) and art supplies (simple drawing) Please message me about concepts to be addressed and I will send a supply list, if needed, before class starts.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
