Description

Class Experience

Students will learn and practice drawing strategies, oil pastel techniques, and watercolor painting techniques. We will learn about the characteristics of a new artwork each day, and apply them to the artworks we create together.
As a traditional classroom teacher, many of the lessons I designed were inspired by the work of master artists throughout history. This class combines all of my very favorite things: artist studies, art history, drawing, painting, and still leaves room for each student's unique creative spark. I'm excited to share these quick, fun lessons with my students!
Some students may wish to use extra time to finish their artworks.
