Description
Class Experience
Students will practice drawing proportionate human figures, from observation. Drawing techniques including shading, texture, and adding backgrounds will also be demonstrated. Lessons will emphasize naturalism and the unity of the figures we draw.
Students who work more slowly may wish to take extra time after class had ended to complete their drawings.
1 file available upon enrollmentJust paper and a pencil! Good eraser: mandatory. Sketchbooks optional. Also optional: Students may wish to add shading or color using media such as ink, watercolor, colored pencil, etc. This is entirely optional and dependent on the preferences of each student!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
