Mastering the TI-84 Graphing Calculator

In order for students to do their best in math, it helps to master the calculator. The TI-83 or 84 is the most common graphing calculator allowed on math assessments, such as the SAT, ACT, and other formal assessments important to maximizing academic potential. I will teach students, how to graph functions, use tables, create matrices, and calculate common statistics needed for analysis. Students will improve their understanding of the calculator and begin utilizing its deeper features to quickly and confidently solve problems on formal assessments in school, such as the SAT/ACT.

Students will need a TI-83 or 84 calculator to optimize their learning in this class. Students can also use the TI-84 calculator app on their computer, which is free until January 2021 via Texas Instrument's Website. Students may also download an emulator on their smart phone.
