This class will offer a fun way to master a basic magic trick with everyday objects. The cups and balls is a classic and easy to learn magic trick that you will undoubtedly be excited to show to your family and friends immediately after learning how to present the trick. Even with no prior knowledge of magic techniques, this class will be structured in a very step-wise fashion, where I will show you how the trick works at the basic level and give you the opportunity to try that. Then, more advanced techniques will be presented and time will be allowed for you to practice, while I can help you if you're having difficulty. This is a very interactive class where I'll be helping you each step of the way.
Learning Goals
You will learn basic magic sleight of hand technique as well as the basics of the trick. Beyond the skills, you will see various presentations of the trick so you can decide how you want to perform it.

With my masters in STEM education, I am enthusiastic about bringing STEM to the forefront of learning and integrating all disciplines to understand the world around us. Ultimately, science is about observations, and my grounding question has always been, what is your hypothesis? Why do you think this event is happening, and what data can we collect to explain it?! Science is all around us, and my passion has always been to help my students understand WHY something happens!
Aside from my love of teaching, I'm a full time new dad of a 15 month old little boy who learned to walk and hasn't slowed down yet!
